Halloween Mask 2k7 by Zenith

After finishing the hyena mask, I wanted to make something creepier for Halloween. This looks especially spiffy if you put a glowstick in the mouth. The eyes can even be lit up with little LED lights, but unfortunately I have a severe shortage of those at the moment... I'm currently in the process of re-doing the mane.

This little 'yena was my first serious venture into clay. It's not as vibrant as my later sculptures because at this stage I wasn't experimenting with acrylics yet-- it's simply painted with engobe (colored clay).
